Dr. Annette Leon is a Medical Geneticist board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Leon has delivered optimized products, including AI-driven, and scalable diagnostic solutions to improve access and utilization of genomic medicine for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of genetic disorders. Dr. Leon is also a contributor to clinical guidelines from professional organizations (ACMG, AMP, CAP, CLSI), and past Chair of Informatics for AMP. Dr. Leon completed her Clinical Molecular Genetics and Clinical Cytogenetics fellowships at Harvard Medical School. She also received a Ph.D. in BioPhysics and Computational Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana, and a MS in Biotechnology from Havana University.
