Musa Hindiyeh is the Director of the Caritas Baby Hospital laboratory department and the Augusta Victoria Hospital Department of Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. Hindiyeh received his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and his Doctoral degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He later received postdoctoral training in Medical Microbiology and Public Health from the University of Utah.
Dr. Hindiyeh has double American board certifications: one from the American Society of Clinical Pathology and one from the American Society of Microbiology (American Board in Medical Microbiology).
Dr. Hindiyeh is a member of the Palestinian National Immunization Technical Advisory Committee and is a member of the Measles Elimination Committee.
Dr. Hindiyeh has been interested in developing rapid viral and bacterial diagnostic assays in addition to researching the emergence and spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Dr. Hindiyeh coauthored several manuscripts and more recently was one of the editors of the Molecular Medical Microbiology 3rd edition book.
