Dr. Panieh Terraf, PhD, FACMG, is a board-certified medical geneticist with a career in cancer genomics.
After completing her clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Clinical Laboratory Genetics and Genomics, she joined the faculty at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), where she has made significant contributions to the field of cancer genome diagnostics. Specializing in clinical interpretation of complex molecular and cytogenetic results, Dr. Terraf collaborates closely with oncologists and pathologists to guide personalized patient care. Her work is crucial in understanding inherited and acquired genomic alterations and their implications for cancer screening, diagnosis, and management.
Dr. Terraf’s research focuses on translating cutting-edge biological concepts into novel diagnostic techniques, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality, state-of-the-art care.
